Brainspotting

Brainspotting is a powerful, body-based therapeutic approach designed to process and release trauma, emotional pain, and other experiences that may be held in the body. This approach bypasses our language and logical minds, tapping directly into the part of the brain and body where the recent trauma is held, and does not require any re-telling of the traumatic event. We modify this approach to fit your body’s individual and unique needs.

Somatic approaches

Somatic approaches are body-oriented approaches that can help to process and release trauma, emotional pain, and other experiences that may be held in the body. These approaches, which are deeply rooted in African, Caribbean, and Indigenous traditions, help you tune in to the physical sensations to release trauma and emotional pain. Black and Brown queer and trans people hold a deeply rooted lineage of healers and somatic wisdom within their bodies. We modify somatic approaches to support you in tapping into your lineage and that wisdom to help with individual and collective healing.
